Breed History
The Oxford Sandy and Black pig is one of the oldest British pig breeds, they have been around for over 200 years! This breed has almost gone extinct twice but thankfully, because of the work of a few small-scale breeders we still have this characterful pig breed today! It was named because of it’s beautiful colouring.
Our Purpose
The breed was developed to be dual purpose – to produce both bacon and pork!
