Dartmouth Park

Beautiful and historic Dartmouth Park is the closest point to West Bromwich town centre and boasts a great play area with a splash pad, small children’s play area with sandpits, gym equipment stations, a sensory garden and a boating lake.

Events take place around the bandstand area, and the Pavilion building is home to the Pavilion Café, serving a range of eat-in and take-out options.

The Friends of Dartmouth Park have worked in partnership with Sandwell Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) on the restoration of this historic Dartmouth Park for over 10 years. The group has continued to grow to over 200 members, and active volunteers maintain and develop the sensory garden Tuesday and Friday mornings. With the help of its members the group have undertaken a project to replace many of the parks benches. You can learn more about their excellent work and how to get involved, and about the history of Dartmouth Park in Friends of Dartmouth Park Website.
